that can be grated later. In addition, Ricotta cheese is commonly used in
various Italian desserts and filled and baked pasta recipes such as Spinach and

4. It is stored well-wrapped in a refrigerator
It is recommended to store the
ricotta cheese well wrapped in a refrigerator and use it within a week for best
results once it is opened. However, the ricotta cheese that you may buy from a
supermarket may last for several days longer in the refrigerator.
5. Ricotta is a lot healthier than other regular cheese
Ricotta has a good source of calcium
and magnesium and it is ideal for those people who are on a strict diet but at
the same time also want to relish on a cheese. Its low-fat content, which is
around 10% is very low as compared to 34% in regular cheese.
