Chilli Idli in Chings Schezwan Sauce
A quick 2 min breakfast
Ingredients:
- Few Rava idlis (3-4) (cut them into cubes)
- Mustard seeds
- 1 onion chopped
- Curry Leaves
- 2 Red Chilies
- Chili Flakes
- Salt to taste
- Fresh Herbs (Basil)
- 1 tablespoon Chings schezwan sauce
Method
- Heat oil in a pan
- Add mustard seeds and then add red chilies when the seeds begin to crackle
- Next, add curry leaves and onions
- Saute the onions until they are translucent
- Add 1 tablespoon of schezwan sauce along with the idlis and saute them for a while
- Add Chili flakes and basil and mix it well
- Garnish with fresh coriander and serve it hot
Tips:
- While deep frying if the idlis stick, add little water so that schezwan sauce mixes well with idlis and let it cook for a minute.
- You can also add green chilies instead of red chilies.
- In case you have basil leaves then you can add that instead
