Chilli Idli in Chings Schezwan Sauce

A quick 2 min breakfast

Ingredients:

  • Few Rava idlis (3-4) (cut them into cubes)
  • Mustard seeds
  • 1 onion chopped
  • Curry Leaves
  • 2 Red Chilies
  • Chili Flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh Herbs (Basil)
  • 1 tablespoon Chings schezwan sauce

Method

  1. Heat oil in a pan
  2. Add mustard seeds and then add red chilies when the seeds begin to crackle
  3. Next, add curry leaves and onions
  4. Saute the onions until they are translucent
  5. Add 1 tablespoon of schezwan sauce along with the idlis and saute them for a while
  6. Add Chili flakes and basil and mix it well
  7. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve it hot 

Tips:

  • While deep frying if the idlis stick, add little water so that schezwan sauce mixes well with idlis and let it cook for a minute.
  • You can also add green chilies instead of red chilies. 
  • In case you have basil leaves then you can add that instead
