Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp water
1tbsp butter
1/2 cup cream
Method:
- Put sugar in a pan.
- Place the pan on medium heat, and add water
- Let the sugar dissolve by itself, and then add lemon juice. Do not use spoon to mix sugar. Just shake the pan. Do not ever leave the pan even for few seconds as at this stage sugar changes its color very fast.
- Go on moving the pan so that the sugar water syrup is stirred.
- At one point, you will notice smoke coming out. This is the point where you should immediately remove the pan from heat.
- Add cream and butter and now stir with a spoon.
- Return to fire and stir continuously till the required consistency.
- Cool and refrigerate.
