Ingredients:
1 tsp arhar / tuar dal
1 tsp rice
1 tsp urad dal
1 tsp chana dal
3 whole red chillies
Few coriander seeds
Method:
- Dry roast all the ingredients in a tawa separately except for whole red chillies and coriander seeds till they are golden brown
- In the same hot tawa, roast whole coriander seeds
- Remove and switch off the burner and roast three whole red chillies
- Let it cool for few minutes and grind all the ingredients.
- Your fresh sambhar powder is ready
